Casa Carlo, New Italian Market, Slated To Open At 101NQ
The new market will be part of the exciting lineup of shops coming to the center of Lancaster City.
We chatted with Francesco Conigliaro, Owner of Casa Carlo, to get an inside peek at this delicious authentic Italian eatery opening soon!
“We will offer authentic and healthy Italian recipes served in a fast-casual environment,” said Francesco, also the owner of Two Cousins Pizza in Willow Street. “Majority of the items will be made fresh in-store such as meatballs, sausage, breading our own chicken, sauces, mozzarella made by hand, and much more.”
There will be multiple delicious and artisanal options to peruse.
“We’ll have personal size pizzas with high end ingredients, Italian pastries, cookies, cakes, and pasta that will be made fresh in the store with sauces crafted from scratch,” said Francesco. “In addition, we’ll offer sandwiches and paninis made with high end Italian deli meats and cheeses that you can’t find anywhere else in the area.”
There will also be an assortment of creative salads sure to impress, and grab-and-go items like pasta salads, snacks, finger foods, and many more. Also, for those looking to shop for ingredients, there will be plenty.
“You can shop imported Italian groceries such as olive oils, sauces, cookies, jams, and pasta,” added Francesco. “We will also have gift baskets available that will cater to each holiday or offer customization for individual gifts. Plus you can explore our deli section and purchase high quality Italian meats, cheeses, fresh pasta, and such.”
It will also be a perfect lunchtime destination.
“There will be a display with prepared paninis, mini bolis, and marinated bar that can be served up in a matter of a minute which can accommodate high volume lunches,” said Francesco.
Francesco is excited to be bringing this marketplace to Lancaster.
“As a fellow Lancaster resident, I want to provide the area with a food establishment that accommodates the busy working individuals who appreciate high quality food but have limited time,” he added. “I want to show the community authentic Italian food. Once people eat a dish made with fresh pasta, or a sandwich with imported prosciutto and mozzarella made by hand in-store, it’ll start to open up people’s eye to what real quality is.”
It’s safe to say the city is looking forward to Casa Carlo.
“I truly believe in Lancaster’s potential to become a big time city,” Francesco said. “It has all the pillars in place for growth and there’s a lot of opportunities. I want to play a part in helping grow the food scene here.”
Francesco Conigliaro teases that there will be another foodie announcement in the Spring, so keep checking back to see what else he is bringing to this unique downtown destination!
