Lancaster’s Newest Poke Place Set to Open at 101NQ
A new poke place is coming to 101NQ and it’s adding the perfect touch of Hawaiian cuisine to Downtown Lancaster. Dreamed and created by Francesco Conigliaro, Yahi is designed to fuse healthy lunch options and speedy food service into one vibrant restaurant. With its central location and intentional design, Yahi is about to be your new lunchtime obsession.
What exactly is poke? Pronounced “po-kay,” in Hawaiian, poke is defined as “to cut or slice.” A poke bowl typically consists of raw fish tossed with rice, vegetables, and various seasonings. At Yahi, not only will customers be offered raw fish options, but they will also be able to choose from Hibachi bases like chicken and shrimp. Juices blended in-house with local, fresh fruits will be offered as the perfect pairing to your meal.
The restaurant will be a create-your-own-bowl system that allows customers to customize their orders whether they take a minute to sit down and enjoy or scurry off to their next appointment. Complete with bar seating and tables, Yahi’s layout is designed for a variety of customer’s needs. Plus, the décor will be bright and energetic, completing the “feel-good vibe.”
When you eat good, you feel good. For this reason, each bowl will hold enough nutrients, like Vitamin C and omegas, to give you that extra boost of energy to finish out the workday. His passion lies in providing quality food that tastes good and is good for you. Poke is completely customizable, which allows customers to design a bowl perfect for them. Using only fresh, sustainable ingredients, Yahi’s bowls are intentionally created to both fill-up and energize customers. Along with poke bowls, the restaurant will also sell grab-and-go sushi.
Owner Francesco Conigliaro truly understands quality culinary options, as he owns and operates the Two Cousins Pizza in Willow Street and Casa Carlo, a new Italian Market set to go in right next door to Yahi in 101NQ. He also values both quality food and quality experiences, which is why he is so dedicated to expanding Lancaster’s cuisine options. It’s difficult to find healthy on-the-go options but these new establishments coming to 101NQ are going to be just the solution Lancaster needs. It has always been a dream of his to open restaurants Downtown, which makes the opening of both Yahi and Casa Carlo all the more special.
Yahi is currently hiring crew members seeking to work in an upbeat, growing environment. To learn more about open positions as well as sign up for the Yahi newsletters, visit yahipoke.com
